We encouraged our Jew Crew Bar/Bat Mitzvah class to volunteer as an Aleph Champ Hebrew reading assistant. Volunteers will read Hebrew one on one with younger Hebrew School students.
Jew Crew Bar/Bat Mitzvah Heritage course - 5:15pm - 6:00pm
The Jew Crew class is the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Heritage course for children in 7th grade. The course is from October through the end of January. It is held from 5:15pm - 6:00pm. The children will learn about the meaning of being Bar/Bat Mitzvah as well as the meaning and significance of the special Mitzvot pertaining to a Bar/Bat Mitzvah child.
We also discuss the prayers that the children will read at their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. As well as discussing the translation and deeper meaning behind each prayer. The children will learn about the journey of the soul, and an important overview of the Torah and biblical history.
Please note: that attending the Jew Crew program is mandatory, for all children having their Bar/ Bat Mitzvah at Lubavitch of Bucks County.
The cost is only $300 for the full program.
