Lubavitch of Bucks County and the expanded the world of Jewish kosher cooking when they created the annual event, Bubby's Cook-Off, benefiting Friendship Circle Foundation. Bubby's Cook-Off is an interactive charity fundraiser focused on raising money to extend a helping hand to children with special needs involving them in a full range of social experiences. The event also honors individuals who have been selected based upon their tremendous contributions to their community.

Since 2013, Philadelphians have been invited to play "judge" and sample modern Jewish fare served up by acclaimed Philadelphia chefs, paired alongside some of the best Israeli wines. The area's best chefs face-off, preparing traditional recipes that are completely kosher with their own modern twist. Most of the participating chefs do not have any experience in kosher cooking, which adds to the excitement and amazement of the dishes they present. You do not have to keep kosher to enjoy every palatable bite of this evening!
