The Grand Chanukah Menorah Parade
Greet the large menorah car parade as Judah Maccabee leads the “Might of Light” parade into town to kindle the giant menorah at the Glazier Jewish Center.
Children along State Street will receive chanukah gelt from our roaming street characters.
As we constantly strive to introduce new projects and opportunities to raise the level of Jewish awareness in the Bucks County community, we feel its is high time to spread the message of Chanukah in a grand way, as Bucks County has not yet seen. There is so much darkness. So much confusion. The world desperately seeks and awaits a message of light.
We are introducing the 2nd Annual GRAND Chanukah Menorah Parade.
WHAT?
You acquire a special roof top menorah (designed not to scratch your roof top available through our office) and place it on you car’s roof top for the duration of the parade or longer. We gather at a central location and and participate for a procession along a designated route.
Imagine….
Imagine the excitement of children as they are riding down the main streets of Bucks with their parents proudly displaying their Jewish faith. Imagine the profound message and valuable legacy we give them through this experience…
Think…
Think of the many times throughout Jewish history that Jews were paraded in a very negative manner to the concentration camps, death camps, out of towns cities and shtetlach. Now, with G‑d’s gift of freedom, we have the opportunity to march proudly sharing a beautiful message of hope and light to our community and the world around us.
DO…..
Dear friends. Do it for your self. Do it for your children. Do it for the many Jewish neshamas that will undoubtedly be awakened through this. And if that does inspire you, please do it for the millions of Jews who were paraded through their towns in shame and degradation.
This Chanukah lets proclaim Am Yisreal Chai! In a way in which our message is shared with the world proudly. And joyfully.

WHY?
To publicly celebrate Chanukah is the very essence of what Chanukah is about. The common practice for all generations has always been to light the menorah specifically at night and facing the outdoors. It is the only mitzvah where we are instructed not to do inside the home, school, or shul, but to proudly display to all our neighbors and make sure every passer by sees the menorah lights and hopefully be inspired its the universal message.
The universal message?
That light dispels darkness. A little bit goes a long way. Add a little light each night and before long you have accumulated a strong power.
The menorah parade is an opportunity to share the message of Chanukah with the widest possible audience.
