Dear Shul Participants,

We hope this letter finds you in good spirits. With the High Holidays beginning in early September and some Yom Kippur transitions that will be taking place this year, we are contacting you with plenty of time to make your appropriate plans.

Rosh Hashanah
As in the past few years, there will be services at both the Yardley and Newtown locations. In Yardley services will be held at its weekly location, 1444 Yardley-Newtown Road.  In Newtown services will be held in the Pozez Social Hall at the Glazier Jewish Center, 25 North State Street.

Yom Kippur (New Locations)
This year Yom Kippur services will NOT be held at the Holiday Inn.
As on Rosh Hashanah, there will be services at both the Yardley and Newtown locations. In Yardley services will be held at its weekly location, 1444 Yardley-Newtown Road.  In Newtown services will be held in the Pozez Social Hall at the Glazier Jewish Center, 25 North State Street.

We have come to this decision based on assessing the needs of our shul communities while being confident that we can properly accommodate the wider community that our services cater to.

IMPORTANT: If you have a hospitality or any other concern, we will do our utmost to assist you in ensuring that you have the same or better Yom Kippur experience than we have provided in the past.

Break-Fast
A break-fast will be provided in both locations.  We are also asking for a suggested donation of $18 per adult and $10 per child (12 and under). You can be a break-fast sponsor for $100.

Sleeping Accommodations
There are 3 hotels available in Newtown. Please read the enclosed sheet regarding making reservations so as to prevent any inconvenience or misunderstanding.

If you would like to order your Lulav and Esrog set through the Shul please e-mail [email protected] with your order by Monday, September 13. Each set is $45. Checks can be made out to LBC.

Thank you very much for being a Shul participant and for being involved in the growth of our Shul.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy and sweet New Year,
