of course ok to celebrate birthdays! We celebrate Rosh Hashana, Adam's birthday while crowning our creator as King
Our birthday is a time for our personal renewal and rebirth. It is the end of an old cycle and the start of a new one.
When we honor our birthday we honor the Almighty. Not only has he created us but he blew in each one of us as he had in Adam a soul, a spark from himself. So when we honor and celebrate our birthday we honor and celebrate him. Reply
