Good evening…..

On behalf of Lubavitch of Bucks County I would like to thank all of you for being here tonight and supporting the work of this great organization.

I think everyone here would agree that the strongest relationship we could ever witness in our lives is the bond between a mother and her child or children.  That bond involves nurturing, teaching, leading by example, and embracing that child or children without judgment, and never turning her back, even if the child strays.

I find the same characteristics in the relationship with Lubavitch and the community that it embraces.  Nurturing, teaching, and above all embracing all that it touches.  Lubavitch succeeds.  It is impressive how they embrace all, including me, an Irish Catholic.

I have truly been inspired by Lubavitch and especially by its leader, a person that I am honored to know and to call a true friend.  That person is Rabbi Shemtov.  It’s remarkable to me what he has accomplished from such a humble beginning and with your tremendous support tonight, will continue to achieve.

I would like to introduce to you an extraordinary person, Rabbi Shemtov.
