I am humbled to have been asked to be the concert chair for such a great organization, the Lubavitch of Bucks County.  I have been a strong supporter for this driving force since the beginning, and I can tell you that I’ve gotten back tenfold what I’ve given, much to the credit of its leader, Rabbi Shemtov.

On a personal level, besides the admiration and respect I have for the Rabbi, he is a true friend and probably the most religious person I know.  Aside from this friendship, I have been truly inspired, enlightened and encouraged by Lubavitch. Along with his wife Miriam and Rabbi & Mrs. Weinstein, Lubavitch succeeds in breaking down the barriers that divide people and always look and focus on the inner good that unites us all.  It is impressive how they “embrace” all, including me, an Irish Catholic.

I know that Bucks County, and in fact the world, is a better place because of their tireless efforts.  When I think back to the first Menorah lighting at our Yardley store with about 20 people in attendance, to present day where upwards of 600 people have joined us, I am thrilled to have been asked to help bring joy to so many.

I congratulate Lubavitch and especially Rabbi Shemtov for making Bucks County a true Jewish community.

I would like join the many, who wish them Mazal Tov on this special Bar-Mitzvah celebration of 13 year of dedicated service to our local community,
